2015 Chessmen Club William & Marcia Logan Family Scholarship Fund: A fund that provides financial support to Evanston community members and organizations seeking or promoting educational opportunities that advance the family's vision of social justice.
2020 The Logan Family Gym: The new Robert Crown Community Center gym is named the “Logan Family Gym” in honor of contributions his family has made to safety, education, and social justice in Evanston.
2020 The Rotary Club of Evanston William H. Logan Jr. Legacy Service Award: Established recognizing a pioneer in the community who is making significant contributions to Evanston through their time, action, talents and dedication. He was honored as the first recipient of the award.
2023 The Bill Logan Jr. Way: An honorary street name recognized by the City of Evanston.
2024 Team Logan: Logan family was honored at Evanston’s 1st annual Kuumba Olympic Games at the opening and closing ceremonies and with “Team Logan” being named in their honor.
2024 The Shorefront Logan Legacy Fund: Established for researching, documenting, and sharing the legacy of accomplished leaders and organizations in Evanston to educate, inspire, and transform others.
United Nations Service Medal: An international decoration awarded by the United Nations to the various world countries members for participation in joint international military and police operations such as peacekeeping, humanitarian efforts, and disaster relief.
National Defense Service Medal: The National Defense Service Medal is a service award of the United States Armed Forces established by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1953.
Korean Service Medal: The Korean Service Medal is a military award for service in the United States Armed Forces and was established November 8, 1950, by executive order of President Harry Truman.
Korean War Service Medal (from South Korea): Introduced by South Korea in 1951 to recognize the assistance provided by members of the United Nations forces in combatting communist aggressions in Korea.

Valor for Outstanding Performance Above and Beyond the Call of Duty: Received the police department's highest commendation award by placing his life in jeopardy in a successful effort to disarm a felon and free a hostage.
State of Illinois Human Relations Commission: Awarded by Governor Richard Ogilvie of the State of Illinois for serving on the State Human Relations Commission, the first police officer to serve on the commission and he was instrumental in establishing Human Relations courses in Illinois.
Atlanta University Criminal Justice Institute Certificate of Appreciation: Awarded for meritorious service rendering hours of professional instruction to the Atlanta University Criminal Justice program.
Illinois Association Chiefs of Police Award: Awarded for his untiring and distinguished service.
Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Award: Awarded as an expression of gratitude for contributions to the Accreditation for Law Enforcement agencies.
NOBLE Founders Medallion: Awarded as a founding member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives and honored by President George Bush in 2001.
